Ridiculous Gossip for No Good Reason

So Al Gore apparently got obscenely rich in the last 6 years — to the tune of a hunnert millyun clams, thanks to some pre-IPO Google stock, a start-up TV network and a financial planning service.

$100 Million in six years? That’s some clams! It’s not Mike Bloomberg clams, but it’s serious clams.

Given that kind of cash, does anyone think a speculative financial dabble in, oh, we don’t know, TV and radio ads in Manchester or Des Moines is out of the question?  Especially now that the business community would be dealing with one of their own? And now that the Republicans are drubbing out the only qualified candidate they have because he won’t join in their xenophobic burn-a-mexican-effigy party?

We’re not sayin’….  We’re just sayin’.

The good reason that Gore has done so well is beacuse he is very smart, hardworking and tends to get things right which comes as no surprise to me.

In the ’80s before most of us had even heard of the Internet, Gore grasped the signifiance of the internet was the most active Senator in the legislation of the Interent.

Gore was one of two Democrats who supported Desert Storm , which was a winner.

    Gore applauded the Afganistan invasion.

Gore opposed the Iraq invasion in numerous major speeches starting in Sept 2002.

Gore probably got it right on global warning

GW Bush has probable above average intelligence, but until he was president he was a drifter with a drinking problem until he was 40 and then a serially failing businessman until the Neocons propped him up as their front in the largely ceremonial post of Texas Governor.

Gore did not lose the 2000 election. America lost.
